My first character who sticks out like a sore thumb. The inspiration for the design was actually when I was looking for art and saw this one thumbnail picture that looked sort of like that. On closer inspection, it turned out to be a Chinese guy standing next to a string of firecrackers attached to a plate at top, but I'd liked what I'd seen in the thumbnail, and thus this was born.

Now I have an odd robot character like Stuffman42. His simple design should allow me to make better use of him too, as an avatar or something.

Drawn, then colored in Photoshop. I was having trouble with the flames, so I fell back to the trusty method of smacking the image with different filters. I think it looks neat.
